The question actually should be 'why any kind of therapy?'
If you are able to forgive yourself and others for everything (yes everything) that has happened in the past, you don't need therapy.
If you are able to keep your awareness totally in the present, right here right now, then you don't need therapy.
If you are able to prevent your emotions from taking over your state of mind, then you don't need therapy.
If you are able to be yourself, your true self, then you don't need therapy.
If none of the above, then how do you decide which therapy is best for you? What works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another.
Some people are more analytical and need to understand what, when, where, why and how. Hypnotherapy is excellent for these people as it enables you to see what is the source of your issue, when, where, why and how it started.
Many people are more fluid and respond better to the flowing energy of Reiki and crystals.
Some need to do something physically with their body to feel a difference. Yet others are fine with just talking about their issues to someone.
